The Sword and the Trowel was founded in 1965 by Charles H. Spurgeon [1834-1892] and publication continues to this day at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London. The earliest issues of this monthly magazine are now in the public domain. My thanks to The Evangelical Library for the loan of their collection for scanning.
